Closure Information Impacting Pennsylvania Stays

We’re here to serve our guests, team members and those within the communities we live. Your safety is and always has been our top priority. We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following the CDC and U.S. public health recommendations as they evolve.

We have had no reported positive COVID-19 cases within our guest or associate community. However, with the recent guidance from the Pennsylvania officials restricting large gatherings, we have made the decision to temporarily close our Poconos Mountains, PA location and plan to re-open on April 2, 2020.

The closure will be effective starting at 4PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

If you are staying Monday, March 16, you will have full use of the Waterpark and Kalahari facilities before departing on Tuesday at 4PM.

For guests with arrivals March 17 through April 1, we will automatically cancel your reservation and provide a full refund. However, please be patient, as, with the number of reservations that will need to be canceled, this may take up to 10 days to process on your original form of payment.

As we together navigate through this uncharted territory, we are very thankful for our incredible communities, guests and associates during this uncertain time. We are looking forward to welcoming our guests back in the Poconos Mountains, PA after we re-open on April 2, 2020.

We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and provide any necessary updates online and via email.

We’re optimistic that healthier days are on the horizon. It will be our pleasure to have you and your family as our guests. For those that want to escape and unwind. For those that want to splash the day away. For those that want to take a moment and focus on the fun, instead of the worry. We’ll be here.

Stay safe and healthy,
The Kalahari Family
